Yes, and any professional caterer should. Apart from the wide variety of vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and other special dietary needs we offer, we’ll be happy to discuss and customize the menu to accommodate all of your guests. Please be sure you inform us of any food allergies well in advance–during the menu creation stage is best.
5. What does your wedding catering package include?
Handheld Catering is a full-service catering company, which means we will decorate and set the tables, create and serve the food, and cleanup afterwards. Our charges are per guest and include production, site visits, labor, administrative fees, and clean up. However, the fee is subject to federal and local tax laws.
6. Is the wedding cake included in your catering package?
No. The wedding cake is charged separately.
7. Do you offer tastings? Are they charged?
Yes, we do. Once you receive our catering quote, feel free to request a tasting. As we have to source for the menu items for the scheduled tasting locally, we charge $100 per person for tastings. However, the charges will be deducted from your catering balance should you choose to book with us.
8. Will I incur a corkage fee?
No. Our servers will open and serve your preferred beverages at no additional cost.
9. How many servers do I need for my event?
Normally, a single server attends to 10-12 people if your event will have a sit-down plated service. For a buffet style set up, one server attends to 25 people. Nevertheless, we can reduce or increase the number of servers depending on how simple or complicated your event will be.
